What is SpaceX?

  • SpaceX was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. It has reached worldwide popularity with their historic milestones in space exploration.
  • SpaceX is the one and only space agency who returned a spacecraft from low-Earth orbit. After several successful launches, it becomes a  regular cargo resupply missions for NASA.

Rockets and Spacecraft

  • FALCON 9
    • In the year 2012 Falcon9 delivered Dragon into the correct orbit for rendezvous with the International Space Station.
    • This launch made a  SpaceX become the first private company ever to visit the station.
  • FALCON HEAVY
    • Falcon Heavy was designed to carry humans into space and restores the possibility of flying missions with the crew to the Moon or Mars.
  • DRAGON
      • Dragon carries cargo to space, but it was initially designed to carry humans to space.
      • Based on the agreement with NASA, SpaceX is now developing the refinements that will enable Dragon to the flight crew.
    • Dragon’s first manned test flight is expected to take place as early as 2018.

What is SpaceX’s 2018 Moon Travel

  • After 45 years of NASA’s lunar mission, SpaceX’s planned to send two persons on the craft to the moon in 2018.

Like the Apollo astronauts before them,
these individuals will travel into space carrying the hopes
and dreams of all humankind, driven by the universal
human spirit of exploration

  • This space mission is based on Falcon Heavy rocket and Drogan carrier.
  • SpaceX expects to conduct health and fitness tests, necessary training before boarding into the spacecraft, for the two paid passengers to space abroad.
  • After this successful SpaceX lunar tourism mission, NASA and SpaceX joined together planned to send more passengers to the moon.
