PhD Admission under AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) Scheme

AICTE, New Delhi has given approval to Anna University, Chennai to select the
eligible candidates for AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) for the year 2022-23.
In this connection, the online application for ADF will be made available on our Centre
for Research webpage from 03.08.2022 onwards. The last date to submit the filled online
application is 26.08.2022.

The candidates are advised to see the guidelines (Eligibility criteria, Thrust areas of
research, Fellowship amount, and its duration) issued by the AICTE for the ADF scheme also, refer to the below link for a list of eligible Institutions/Departments and general instructions.

General Instructions

1. The applicant must ensure their eligibility for Ph.D. Admission 2022-23 under ADF
   Scheme in respect of qualifications and other requisite criteria and only then apply.
2. The online application form can be filled out from University’s website cfr.annauniv.edu after ensuring eligibility and other requisite criteria as published in the Detailed Notification
   available on the website by the candidate.
3. Before applying Online, a candidate should ensure the availability of the following details: Valid GATE/NET Scorecard, Date of Birth, Community certificate (if applicable), Non-Creamy
   layer Certificate & Date of issuance (if applicable), Physical Disability Certificate (if
   applicable), Marks (in % or CGPA) obtained in various examinations from class X
   onwards, experience in years & months (if applicable),
4. After successfully submitting the application online, the candidate is required to take a print
   out of the filled online Application form, which has been duly signed by them,
   Supervisor and Head of the Department of the Supervisor. The candidate will be assigned
   system generated Application Number which should be noted by them for further
   reference. Finally, the application must be submitted to the below-mentioned address on or
   before the due date mentioned in the circular.

5. The application filed after the last date notified will not be entertained and no further
   correspondence will be made in this regard. Candidates are advised to refer the website
   for any updates etc.
6. Online mode of payment of application fee is only permissible and fees submitted through
   any other mode will not be accepted.
