PhD position in ALS: The laboratory of Prof. Stanislav Engel looks for highly motivated students to take part in the research, whose aims are to decipher the molecular mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases, in particular Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), the most common motor neuron disease, and develop novel therapeutic approached to combat them. The research combines the use of transgenic animals, viral vectors for targeting the therapeutic agent in the CNS, and an active immunization strategy using mRNA technology.

Eligibility for the Development of mechanism-based therapeutics for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

We welcome outstanding international students (including refugees) with an M.Sc. in life sciences or similar disciplines to apply for PhD studies and join the lab.

Postdoc Position
